Master all basic cooking methods like cutting of vegetables, potatoes, etc. Help and prepare food items as per standard recipe cards whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing wastage. Correctly use, clean and maintain all equipment within the food production area. Promptly report any hazards, unsafe working conditions or equipment which requires repair or maintenance. Follow procedures in terms of cooking techniques, to maintain very high quality standards. Use varied kitchen equipment in large quantity food production.
