Hotel Cleaning Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our hotel cleaning team as a cleaner. As a cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel's public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Empty rubbish bins and collect paper waste from designated areas, adhering to hotel waste management procedures.
  • Report any maintenance issues, pest infestations, or equipment malfunctions to the Housekeeping Coordinator/Supervisor for prompt attention.
  • Maintain clean and organized storage areas, including supply rooms and laundry facilities.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper, such as restocking supplies or supporting special events.

Requirements

  • Primary education or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Able to communicate effectively in basic English.
