Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate welding activities on construction sites to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. Schedule, assign, and oversee tasks for a team of welders, optimizing workflows to meet project timelines. Inspect and verify welding work for structural soundness and compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements. Provide technical guidance and hands-on training to welders to enhance team skills and performance. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other construction supervisors to integrate welding activities smoothly within broader project plans. Monitor and maintain records of welding progress, team performance, and equipment usage. Ensure proper use, maintenance, and calibration of welding equipment, coordinating repairs or replacements as needed. Identify potential welding issues on-site and implement corrective actions to ensure safe, high-quality welding work. Maintain a strong safety culture by enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting safety briefings, and promoting safe work practices. Preferred Qualifications Experience in supervising welding activities on large-scale construction projects.
