Manufacturing Program Engineer (Localisation)**Description -****What a** **Manufacturing Program Engineer (Localisation)** **does at HP:*** Coordinates and leads the activities of internal and outsourced manufacturing partners in support of the worldwide manufacture of a product from new product introduction through end of lifecycle.* Collaborates internal, and outsourced manufacturing partners to recommend and implement localization requirements and end packaging process to improve quality and reduce cost.* Represents the Manufacturing program management localization team for all phases of larger and more- complex development and manufacturing projects.* SKU BOM (Bill Of Material) management and creation.* Drive sustainability initiatives to meet HP sustainability commitment and goals.**Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:*** Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Materials/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.* No prior experience required and fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.* Using engineering tools and software packages to test, design, and evaluate products and manufacturing processes.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of material properties and hardware and manufacture.* Using empirical analysis, modelling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications.* Ability to effectively communicate manufacturing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.* Knowledge of smart manufacturing technologies and data analytics will be an added advantage.* Power BI and dashboard reporting competency.*Sustainable impact is HP’s commitment to create positive, lasting change for the planet, its people, and our communities.
