We are now seeking a Functional Consultant (FP&A)with strong finance expertise, ideally backed by a CPA qualification, who can bridge financial knowledge with technology to deliver best-in-class planning capabilities and solutions. Key Responsibilities Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for client approval Design and optimise finance processes (e.g., budgeting, forecasting, reporting, performance management), ensuring they align with best practice and client objectives Develop business process flows and financial models that reflect client functional requirements Analyse financial and master data to assess suitability for planning processes and provide recommendations for improvement Conduct solution validation and testing to ensure high-quality, defect-free delivery across projects, managing risks, engaging stakeholders, and driving successful outcomes Create user training documentation and deliver training sessions to both clients and colleagues Provide input to Product Management on enhancements, informed by customer feedback and emerging FP&A trends Act as a subject-matter expert in FP&A, leveraging CPA and accounting expertise to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards Requirements 5+ years in a finance, FP&A, or professional services capacity CPA qualification (or equivalent professional accounting designation) strongly preferred Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and corporate finance processes Experience with designing process flows, writing complex business logic, and designing user interfaces Ability to lead teams, work collaboratively across workstreams, and manage multiple stakeholders Strong client-facing skills with proven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders Prior Anaplan experience is strongly preferred What We Offer An exciting, dynamic, and energetic working environment An entrepreneurial practice in which your contributions make a direct impact on clients Autonomy to shape your own career trajectory in a rapidly expanding organisation with endless opportunities Extensive professional and personal growth through training and experience in a growing market Wide variety of industry experiences Competitive compensation and benefits Flexible work arrangement Potential to grow into leadership role Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Vuealta Consulting by 2x We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
