Events Executive/Asst Manager

Are you an Event Marketing enthusiast with the passion and drive to develop and implement a wide range of ideas and solutions for clients across different industries in Asia?
We are looking for a driven and enterprising individual with at least 1 year experience in the events/marketing/hospitality industry to join our growing team in Singapore. Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior Exec or Assistant Manager.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the teams to create and execute events and activations around Asia. These events range from conferences and meetings to award galas, product launches, and incentives. We have a good mix of corporate business events and more upbeat and lively events
You will also be involved in new business pitching and proposal preparation.
This is a full-time role based in Singapore with lots of opportunities to travel and manage events in Asia.
Responsibilities:
Partner closely with Project leads to deliver all aspects of the project; candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and have experience will also be leading projects.
Coordinate with all relevant parties and suppliers required for the projects. Suppliers and partners range from providers of technical equipment, venues, designers, web developers, video production houses, printing houses, PR, media and digital agencies, as well as government agencies.
Manage registrations and RSVP for projects where required.
Prepare agendas and minutes for client meetings.
Assist the leads in building budgets, timelines, proposals and prepare all clients correspondence such as contact reports, agenda, etc.
Involved in new business pitching including participation in brainstorming sessions, client meetings, and briefings. Prepare pitch proposals and budgets, attend pitch presentations.
Manage all aspects of assigned project execution within established budgets and timeframe.
Assist with the upkeep of client and suppliers database.
Handle other paperwork associated with account and job functions such as invoicing, contracts, final expenditures, timelines, etc.
Responsible for performing other agency-related tasks as assigned.
Experience and skills required:
At least 1 year of experience in events, production, marketing. Agency experience a plus.
Willingness to take responsibility and accountability in tasks/projects/clients assigned.
Fluent in English, with good writing skills.
Great interpersonal and client management skills are a must.
Flexible and adaptable to challenges and requirements. Thrives in an enterprising and start-up environment.
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of some design software a plus.
Overseas traveling will be required.
PASSIONATE about events, communications, and marketing.
Displays inquisitiveness and a willingness to push thinking in new directions.
You will need to have a positive, can-do attitude.
An intelligent, ambitious, and highly motivated team player with a commitment to quality and professionalism.
Calm in a crisis, extremely organized, proactive with good interpersonal skills.
Flexible, patient, able to prioritize and a good communicator.
