Singapore Singapore Shooting Association, The Full time

The Singapore Shooting Association ("SSA") is seeking a High-Performance Manager (Selection & Budget) to oversee all High- Performance Programmes under SSA. The appointed person will be responsible for the following:

  • Report to the SSA President in all High-Performance matters.
  • Sit in the SSA Planning Committee.
  • Planning of Local and Overseas Competitions.
  • Develop selection policies and follow through on selections with SSA and SNOC.
  • Budgeting for High Performance.
  • Management of athletes and coaches (including welfare).
  • Management of ammunition, firearm and equipment.
  • Liaise and work with SSP, NYSI, SSI, SportSG and SNOC.
  • Present High-Performance report at council meetings.
  • Help prepare High Performance report for SSA Annual Report.
  • Function as a SSA Safe Sport Safeguarding Officer.
  • Perform any other tasks as directed by the President.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Managerial or supervisory experience essential.
  • Preferably GCE "A" Levels/Diploma or above and must have at least 3 years' experience in sport-related matters.
  • Experienced in activity/program management essential, preferably in defining/preparing/implementing/reviewing sport programs.
  • Preferably an NROC Registered Shooting Coach, possesses a valid ISSF License and Values & Principles in Sports accreditation.
  • Passionate in promoting the sport of shooting.
  • Team player and able to work independently and responsibly.
  • Good with oral/written communications in English. Knowledge in other languages and good presentation skills will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledgeable in shooting and general sport safety would be an added advantage.
  • Physically and medically fit with strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
