This role is crucial in meeting both current client expectations and responding to future market demands.Reporting to the Director, Data and Analytics, the Data Analyst Co-op will be responsible for the maintenance analytical solutions for the Sun Life High Net Worth team. As a member of the Data and Analytics team, the Data Analyst is integral to the success of the team. The role is responsible to maintain existing reports, dashboards and documentation. The successful candidate will also participate in a range of data and analytics initiatives across Sun Life High Net Worth by supporting testing and validation activities.* Maintain existing data assets and ensure timely delivery to business partners* Support the creation of data visualizations, dashboards, and reports* Maintain business requirements documentation, source to target mappings and other data & analytics related documentation* Maintain automated reporting on key performance metrics (KPIs) and scorecard metrics using Tableau* Support testing and validation of data assets**Who you will be working with**This role is multi-faceted, involving collaboration across various regions, including Ireland, Canada, Singapore, Bermuda, Asia and the US. The successful candidate will work closely with multiple Sun Life High Net Worth teams and leaders across main functions, such as Strategic Delivery, Technology, Product Development, Operations, Finance, Actuarial, Risk, and Compliance. This position requires a versatile and adaptable individual who can navigate the diverse needs and perspectives of stakeholders in different countries and functions to drive the organization's data and analytics objectives.This opportunity is available to students with an April 2026 or later graduation date.**What you need to succeed*** Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering or a related field* Experience writing SQL queries to analyze data* Experience with VBA and building excel macros* Comfortable learning new applications and processes quickly with minimal direction* Data analysis / visualization using MS Excel* Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
