Compliance Counsel - PE backed Digital Infrastructure Company Recruiting the world's best Legal & Compliance talents- Our client is a private equity‐backed digital infrastructure company with a rapidly expanding footprint across the Asia‐Pacific region. The company is led by a highly experienced management team and supported by a strong legal and compliance function. As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking a Compliance Counsel to join its established legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel . Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and implement the company's compliance framework and policies across the APAC region, in alignment with global standards. Provide strategic advice on a range of regulatory compliance matters , including anti‐bribery and corruption (ABC), ethics, data privacy, sanctions, trade controls, and investigations . Partner with internal stakeholders across business units, HR, finance, and operations to promote a culture of integrity and compliance. Manage internal investigations and support responses to external regulatory inquiries where required. Monitor evolving regulatory and enforcement trends to ensure timely updates and training across the organization. Collaborate with external counsel, auditors, and regulators as needed. Support the General Counsel and broader Legal team on cross‐functional compliance and risk management initiatives. Requirements Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years of post‐qualification experience (PQE) , ideally gained through a combination of private practice and in‐house roles . Solid background in regulatory compliance, ethics, data privacy, sanctions/trade regulations, and internal investigations . Prior experience in multinational or high‐growth companies is highly desirable, preferably within infrastructure, technology, or other regulated sectors. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide pragmatic, business‐oriented advice. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to operate effectively in an international, fast‐paced environment.
