Personal Beauty Specialist

Overview
Personal Beauty Specialist (PBS) for Clé de Peau Beauté. The PBS provides the brand’s highest standard of service to customers at the assigned retail outlet and drives sales and profits. The PBS reports to the Counter/Store Manager and Sales Executive and works closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

The PBS delivers exceptional customer service, supports sales in the counter and collaborates with the store team to meet targets and maintain brand standards.
Main Functions
Work closely with retail team members to achieve monthly sales targets.
Exude professional conduct at the counter.
Maintain proper daily grooming in line with brand requirements.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Operations & Achieving Sales Targets
Provide timely reporting for daily store operations.
Attend counter briefings to receive brand, marketing, and education updates.
Be aware of sales targets and goals discussed in briefings.
Monitor personal monthly sales productivity KPIs.
Maintain a cohesive, cooperative work environment to achieve brand targets and business growth.
Perform cashiering duties professionally with accuracy and integrity.
Follow SOPs for cash handling and report discrepancies to Store Manager and Sales Executive.
Stocks/Inventory Management
Conduct monthly inventory counts and manage stock receipt, reporting discrepancies and aging stock.
Apply FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) for stock management.
Maintain an OOS list and coordinate stock orders with the Store Manager; update high-demand SKUs based on market trends.
Counter/Store Maintenance
Daily checks on merchandizing units and displays; report discrepancies.
Ensure store cleanliness and hygiene, including post-Covid tester SOPs.
Report maintenance issues to contractors/maintenance teams and update the Store Manager.
Forecast and replenish counter hygiene supplies with Store Manager.
Staff Coaching & Development
Assist Store Manager in coaching new PBS, especially on-the-job training; align with onboarding agendas from Education Department.
Provide progress updates on new hires to the Store Manager.
Ensure team members understand roles, targets, and goals.
Coach underperforming team members on service standards and product knowledge; demonstrate selling skills.
Ensure grooming standards are met and provide feedback for improvement.
Service Excellence & CRM
Provide an excellent shopping experience and uphold high customer service standards.
Handle customer complaints effectively.
Recruit new customers and build relationships with existing ones.
Be aware of CRM initiatives and customer data collection, adhering to PDPA guidelines.
Brand Education
On-the-job coaching during the first month and a 7-day brand induction with Education Team.
Receive training in product knowledge, skincare application, makeup artistry, customer service, and sales/operations.
Attend all Education Department trainings (virtual or in-person); participate in seasonal seminars and development programs.
May be selected for projects supporting brand campaigns and launches.
Other
Assist Store Manager and Brand Team for brand PR, consumer events, or sales events.
Provide beauty expertise to inspire customers and determine their product needs.
May work at external events, media presentations, livestreams, or on-stage demonstrations for PR or consumer workshops.
Adhere to Shiseido Code of Conduct and Ethics.
Job Qualifications
Strong passion for the beauty and cosmetics industry.
Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent; 2–3 years of luxury skincare retail experience preferred.
Certificates in facial treatment or makeup artistry preferred.
Good English communication skills; pleasant personality.
Office 365 proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with initiative.
Strong leadership and communication; ability to work in a team and manage stress in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
