What will you do as a Manager Maintenance?As a Manager Maintenance, you will plan and manage the department's resources and budget to meet the company's objectives. You will drive and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company standards, and manage Sustaining and Service, Growth CAPEX projects. You will direct and lead the maintenance team in installation, maintenance and repairs of terminal assets to support safe and continuous operations. What do we offer you?A market-based salary depending on your experience and knowledge and attractive bonuses Various growth opportunities What do we expect from you as a Manager Maintenance?6-9 years of engineering experience and background Diploma/Degree in Engineering Excellent planning, project management and tactical conceptualization abilities Strong data analysis acumen and ability to translate findings into opportunities for improvement Good knowledge of maintenance, operations, safety and product knowledge Knowledge of safety, health and environment practices Demonstrated leadership and people management skills Ability to manage conflict effectively and arrive at balanced outcomes Strong project management skills Positive stakeholder management capabilities with strong communications skills Dynamic, with the desire to work in an intense and demanding environment Strong knowledge of safety standards in maintenance and reliability for Singapore safety standards and industrial standards (e.g., APIs and SS)Knowledge of boiler operations is an advantage Your core responsibilities Develop maintenance strategy aligned with Vopak Standards, policy and local statutory compliance Maintain asset data management through CMMS systems (Infor ME2, EAM, Microsoft Project) and engineering documentation control Direct and lead the department in installation, maintenance and repairs of terminal assets for continuous operations and personnel safety Implement effective maintenance management systems based on industry best practices Manage maintenance contractors and service providers to ensure effective execution within planned resources Sustain continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and quality of maintenance processes Ensure planning and scheduling align with operations for maximum equipment uptime Establish preventive maintenance programs and maintain records to audit service performance Drive asset integrity to prevent inspection backlog for pipelines, tanks, structures and critical equipment Support annual and long-term business plans, forecast performance against KPIs and develop business cases for new projects Manage department resources, prioritization, manpower and budget Support ad hoc projects and activities Review and approve maintenance orders/projects using risk techniques and sensible spending Drive energy and cost-saving initiatives in line with sustainability goals Lead procurement processes for maintenance orders and tenders to ensure competitive pricing Ensure site maintenance complies with SHE policies, rules and company standards Address non-compliance and ensure SHE training for maintenance staff Promote SHE standards and a proactive safety culture Drive continuous safety performance for maintenance staff and contractors Review and approve job risk assessments and allocate resources to minimize hazards Maintain and update maintenance procedures Lead and direct CAPEX project management for maintenance and commercial inquiries Develop technical solutions, schedules and cost estimates for upgrades and improvements Provide training and development to maintenance personnel to ensure competencies Foster organisational development, discipline and process standardisation Encourage employee engagement and positive team dynamics Address employee relations concerns within the Maintenance department Mentor, counsel and train team members Ensure on-the-job training time and materials for new joiners Provide industry, business and product training relevant to the job Maintain appropriate daily team staffing and backup systems Motivate and develop staff in the Maintenance team Next steps If you are interested, please send your application.
