Located in Singapore, responsibilities include strategic costing and data governance, working actively to execute costing frameworks and models with the aim of supporting seasonal negotiation fact packs and delivering cost saving initiatives. The individual will bring a strong analytical mindset to the organization and fully leverage "One VF way". The individual will partner closely with sourcing teams and suppliers to govern costing frameworks. Frequent influential communication to Management level is required**Key Result Areas:****Negotiation Preparation Support**Develop and consolidate relevant "should cost", guidance and supplier performance data to build fact packs for negotiationsExecute negotiation tools (e.g. material clean sheets, cost breakdown templates), analyzing results and providing insights and talking points to the negotiation team**Costing Intelligence**Working closely with suppliers, external data service providers and other data streams, extract, clean and analyze material cost data to support a monthly commodity cost reportProvide analytics and modelling support on cost saving initiatives, actively collaborating with cross functional teams as a subject matter expert on costing data**Project Management**Assist in preparing communication materials to internal and external stakeholders to influence behavior change and achieve business objectivesCo-ordinate and support ad-hoc costing related requests (e.g. sustainable alternatives price analysis, specific commodity deep dive fact packs etc.)**Competency Requirements:**Behavioral Competencies -High EQ in working with cross function/cultural partnersExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)Optimistic and dare to take calculated risksTeam player and the ability to work independentlyBold and creative thinkingAble to work under pressure with multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines**WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:**1-2 years of experience in operations, procurement or costing (Fresh graduates welcome)Undergraduate degree in Quantitative/STEM fieldIntermediate user of Microsoft Office tools, especially excelBasic proficiency in data processing and visualization tools (e.g. Knime, Alteryx, Excel VBA, Tableau, PowerBI etc.)Clear communication skills, both verbally and written, in EnglishStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood stakeholder managementVF Diversity Vision Statement VF is committed to creating an inclusive environment that welcomes and values the differences among all of our associates, customers, suppliers and the communities in which we live and conduct business.
