Job summary We are seeking a highly motivated Electronics & Software Engineer to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics design, embedded systems, and software development for industrial applications. You will play a key role in the design, development, testing, and deployment of electronic control systems and software solutions for our equipment. Key responsibilities Developing embedded control software for our modular systems, using PLC technology for process control, safety assurance, and system integrity. Creating software solutions to facilitate seamless communication between system modules and plant control systems. Developing, testing, and optimizing OEM electronics to enhance system performance and reliability. Design and program software for laboratory test systems based upon NodeRED and Labview. Qualifications & experiences Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of industrial automation protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN, Ethernet/IP) is a plus. Experience with microcontrollers, PLCs, sensors, and actuators (knowledge of Siemens Step 7 is a plus)Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or similar for software development. Strong analytical skills and a passion for solving technical challenges. Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on troubleshooting experience. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
