Senior Technology Consultant

Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software development principles, as well as excellent technical skills and experience working with OutSystems.

  • Project Management: oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Requirements Gathering and Prototyping: work closely with stakeholders to identify and document functional requirements, then develop prototypes to validate assumptions.
  • Technical/Application Architecture Design: design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Technical Specifications: create detailed technical specifications for software development, including data models, APIs, and user interfaces.
  • Support the setup and configuration of SUSS OutSystems cloud platform: assist in the setup and configuration of the OutSystems cloud platform, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
  • User Experience (UX)/User Interface (UI) Design: collaborate with designers to develop intuitive, user-centered designs that meet business objectives.
  • Application Programming Interface (API) Design, Data Design: design and implement secure, scalable APIs and data models that support business growth.
  • Software Customisation/Configuration: customize and configure software applications to meet specific business needs.
  • Code Development, Unit Testing: write clean, efficient code, and conduct thorough unit testing to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Integration and System Integration Testing (SIT): integrate software components and conduct thorough system testing to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Support System Performance Testing: collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Support Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Test: assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure software security.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): work with stakeholders to define and execute UAT plans, ensuring software meets business requirements.
  • Data Migration: assist in migrating data from legacy systems to new software applications.
  • Go-live Implementation: lead go-live implementation efforts, ensuring smooth transition to production.
