Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in classical and interactive reports, screen programming (Module Pool/Dialog), Adobe Forms development, and custom interface development (IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs). Experience with SAP ECC is highly preferred, and the candidate should be ready to contribute to the development of SAP applications in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Design, Develop, and Enhance SAP Applications: Develop and enhance SAP applications using ABAP and other relevant technologies while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with Functional Teams: Work closely with functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Implement and Maintain SAP Systems: Ensure the optimal performance and reliability of interfaces, enhancements, and reports in SAP systems. Code Reviews and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. System and User Testing: Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate functionality, performance, and user experience. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments using debugging tools and techniques. SAP Finance Modules Knowledge: Utilize a solid understanding of SAP Finance modules such as SD, MM, or FI and their integration points. Qualifications/Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in SAP development, with a strong focus on ABAP programming. SAP ECC Knowledge: Experience with SAP ECC is preferred (not just S/4HANA Fiori-based development). ABAP Events and Event-driven Programming: Solid understanding of ABAP Events and Event-driven Programming. Debugging Skills: Strong debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Performance Tuning: Experience with code performance tuning and optimization. Technical Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly during discussions with team members. SAP Modules Knowledge: Solid understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI and their integration points. Data Migration: Experience with data migration strategies and tools, including LSMW and BAPIs. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: Fiori Apps Exposure: Exposure to building or managing custom Fiori apps is a plus but not the primary focus. Adobe Lifecycle Designer: Prior experience with Adobe Lifecycle Designer for form creation and printing scenarios is advantageous.
