Job Title: Master Vehicle Technician

  • About the Role:
  • This role requires a highly skilled and experienced vehicle technician to oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring high-quality repairs and efficient maintenance of vehicles. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills and be able to effectively coordinate tasks, manage staff, and maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the allocation of work orders, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard. They will also be expected to:

  • Develop action plans to improve quality and efficiency within the workshop
  • Perform diagnosis and functional testing on complex vehicle issues
  • Support technicians in improving their diagnostic and testing skills
  • Conduct road tests with customers when necessary to identify issues
  • Provide professional assistance and support to technicians on challenging repairs
  • Oversee workshop processes within the service department
  • Manage, guide, and motivate service department staff
  • Monitor the type and status of repair work
  • Supervise compliance with company policies and regulations among employees
  • Organize regular workshop meetings and maintain records
  • Conduct final inspections of body and paint repair vehicles
  • Supervise workshop cleanliness and ensure proper disposal of waste
  • Monitor rework/redo cases, analyze them regularly, and promptly create action plans
  • Oversee and guide the work of workshop supervisors and conduct evaluations
  • Monitor workshop supervisors in managing repair time and processes
  • Conduct regular staff evaluations
  • Supervise internal trainers in staff training activities
  • Report regularly to the After-sales Manager

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a vehicle technician or in a similar leadership position
