As an Optician in our retail store, you will work as part of a team delivering total satisfaction to our customers through conducting thorough eye examinations and lens prescription. You'll offer our customers recommendations to the highest professional and ethical standards. You will use your knowledge to effectively identify customer needs and recommend eyewear accordingly. In addition, you will act as an ambassador for the Company ensuring every customer is welcomed into the store and to ensure their expectations are exceeded throughout the customer experience.RESPONSIBILITIES: Performing comprehensive eye and vision examination Provide professional advice and solution to customers Recommendation of appropriate optical aids based on eye examination Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism Drive and meet weekly and monthly sales targets Perform day to day store operations and administrative duties Any other ad hoc duties assigned REQUIREMENTS: Fully registered with Optometrists & Opticians Board (OOB) 2-3 years working experience in optical industry Able to work independently and as a team member Sales and target driven Passionate, friendly and cheerful disposition Proactive and responsible Excellent interpersonal and communication skill Able to commit retail hours Able to work on weekend and public holidays BENEFITS: 5 days work week Monthly target achievement commission OOB license renewal reimbursement Comprehensive insurance and healthcare coverage Free eyewear and employee discounts Long service award Training and OJT will be provided
