We create startup-corporate engagements based on business needs and leverage our global Alumni to source, evaluate, and grow startups. We work with founders to accelerate their business, scale, engage in corporate programs, and connect with investors. We identify partners to work together to build, test, market, and grow high potential solutions. About Role and Responsibilities We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic individual to join our team as our Corporate Innovation Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem, possess exceptional communication skills for engaging with corporate clients, and have experience in deal flow sourcing and evaluation. You will be responsible for building strategic partnerships, leading corporate innovation initiatives, and fostering collaborations between corporates and startups. This role requires someone who is both entrepreneurial and analytical, capable of driving innovation and business growth through strategic partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Corporate Relationship Management: • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, executives, and stakeholders. • Understand the strategic goals and pain points of corporates to help identify opportunities for collaboration with startups, and define the right innovation programs to address these goals. • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless communication with founders. Startup Ecosystem Knowledge: • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the startup ecosystem, including emerging technologies, investment landscapes, and market dynamics. • Identify promising startups that align with corporate innovation needs, ensuring a strong fit for potential collaborations. • Act as an internal thought leader on the startup ecosystem, advising internal teams on trends, opportunities, and challenges. Deal Flow Generation: Generate, manage, and track deal flow opportunities between corporates and startups. Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of strategic partnerships and innovation deals. Identify potential startups for investment, partnership, or acquisition, and facilitate connections with the corporate innovation teams. Strategic Planning & Execution: • Work with corporate leadership to develop innovation programs that align with long-term business objectives. • Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of innovation initiatives, ensuring measurable results. • Work with the corporate program execution team to develop targeted value propositions for commercial leads • Develop and manage processes and frameworks to evaluate and scale successful partnerships and innovations. • Manage and grow the corporate innovation team and ensure successful execution of the programs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Technology or in a relevant field. Minimum three years of working experience in the startup ecosystem such as with an incubator, innovation program, fund etc. Experience working with corporate innovation teams Experience in startup evaluation and due diligence Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and research capabilities. Proficiency in multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities effectively.
