Cloud Engineer Job Description

Overview:
This position requires a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our organization and lead the development and implementation of cloud-based services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating and administering large-scale enterprise services, as well as advanced knowledge of operating system fundamentals, networking, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems, and providing expertise in data center management and migrations. Additionally, the engineer will be expected to design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in the operation and administration of large-scale enterprise services

• Advanced knowledge of operating system fundamentals for Microsoft Windows and Linux

• Extensive experience with scripting and automation tools like Ansible

• Expertise in cloud security best practices

• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud

• Proven track record of successful cloud infrastructure projects
