What you will do
As a Senior Accountant based in Singapore on a six-month contract basis—with the potential for permanency—you will play an integral role within the finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, your day-to-day responsibilities will span financial analysis, forecasting, corporate finance management at both fund and entity levels, as well as hands-on involvement in statutory reporting.
Assist with the preparation and review of statutory, monthly, and quarterly fund-level financial reporting as well as investor reporting in accordance with accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at all times.
Support both external and internal audit processes by liaising with auditors and preparing or reviewing audited financial statements to meet compliance requirements.
Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and standards, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance within the finance function.
Contribute to annual budgeting and reforecasting processes by preparing budget files, conducting detailed analysis, and supporting the overall planning cycle.
Prepare comprehensive analyses comparing monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets against actual results to provide valuable insights for business decision-making.
Review annual tax computations and filings for various entities while assisting in group-wide tax filing exercises to ensure prompt statutory compliance.
Work closely with tax agents to manage tax matters effectively, addressing exposures proactively and ensuring timely submission of all required documentation.
