Job Description & Requirements About BFT Nanyang Body Fit Training (BFT) is a globally recognized fitness community offering science-based group strength and conditioning programs. At BFT Nanyang, we bring elite training systems to the western region of Singapore, serving NTU students, staff, and local residents through functional workouts, heart-rate technology, and an inclusive community culture. Position Overview As the Head Coach, you will lead the coaching team, deliver exceptional member experiences, and ensure the highest standards of training execution, safety, and motivation. You'll play a key leadership role in shaping studio culture, mentoring coaches, and driving member engagement and retention. Key Responsibilities • Lead and coach high-energy group training sessions aligned with BFT programming and global standards. • Provide technical and motivational guidance to members, ensuring correct form and safe exercise progression. • Mentor and support the coaching team to maintain consistency, professionalism, and class quality. • Assist Studio Manager in scheduling, staff training, and operational coordination. • Conduct onboarding sessions for new members and guide them in using the BFT3 heart rate technology. • Monitor class attendance, member feedback, and engagement metrics to continuously improve member experience. • Uphold brand standards, cleanliness, and safety protocols in all studio activities. • Represent BFT Nanyang in community events, challenges, and local collaborations. Requirements • Minimum Fitness Instructor Certification (ACE, FISAF, NASM, or equivalent). • Certified in CPR and First Aid. • Proven experience in personal or group training, with at least 2-3 years in a coaching or leadership role. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate members and team. • Passionate about fitness, teamwork, and delivering results-driven training experiences. • Flexible to work on rotating shifts, early mornings, evenings, and Saturdays. Preferred Attributes • Prior experience in boutique fitness or functional group training. • Energetic, team-oriented, and driven by community impact. • Knowledge of strength and conditioning principles. • Marketing or sales background is a bonus
