Job Title: Senior Innovation Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Innovation Manager to lead our product development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for formulating the company's product and technology roadmap in collaboration with top management.

You will provide technical guidance to a team of medical device developers, ensuring that design solutions meet customer requirements and specifications are maintained throughout the development process.

Able to identify and develop good technology partners to collaborate on product development efforts, you will also provide sound technical direction for product design aspects throughout their entire lifecycle.

Serving as subject matter expertise, you will stay current with new technologies and material advancements, participating in research and assessment of the industry landscape from IP, regulatory, product, and technology standpoints.

Collaborating on technical reviews at various stages of design and development, you will support compliance to the company's Quality Management System and ISO

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or any other technical field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in product development roles, preferably within the medical industry or other highly regulated industries.
  • Strong mechanical, mechatronic, or opto-mechanical fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing technologies and processes such as machining, injection moulding, extrusion etc.
  • A proven track record in design innovation, preferably as an inventor of 10 or more patents.
  • An open and collaborative style, comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged.
