Music Educator Role

About the Position

Aureus Academy is seeking a dedicated Music Educator to join our team of experienced instructors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong musical background and excellent teaching skills.

Job Responsibilities


• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual students' needs and examination syllabuses

• Teach music theory, aural skills, and practical techniques to students entering and preparing pupils for examinations

• Source appropriate teaching materials and resources for music lessons

• Foster a motivating learning environment and encourage progress in students' musical journeys

• Assess students' abilities, provide constructive feedback, and write reports for parental feedback

• Accompany or lead ensemble practice and performances as needed

• Collaborate with colleagues on group activities, such as camps and exam preparation

Requirements


• Master's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Diploma in Music (ATCL/DipABRSM)

• 1-2 years of experience in teaching or related fields preferred

• Bright and cheerful personality with confident communication skills

• Job Location: Singapore
