There are often significant ground challenges for implementation of infrastructure works such as underground stations, tunnels, basements, slope stabilisations and building works such as basements, foundations and ground settlements. We are looking for geotechnical engineers, executive geotechnical engineers and senior geotechnical engineers who will be involved with the design aspects of these geotechnical works. Depending on seniority, you will be involved with planning ground investigations and performing ground characterisations thereafter, design concepts for the geotechnical works, carrying out analyses and designs for geotechnical works, appropriate design of structural nature where required, coordination and communication with developers, contractors, authorities and engineers from other disciplines, technical management for carrying out geotechnical design works. You will receive appropriate guidance and knowledge sharing from senior engineers. Requirements Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore. Prior four working experiences in geotechnical engineering projects is preferred. Familiar with using geotechnical design software such as Plaxis and others. Familiar with civil/geotechnical engineering designs in local codes, regulations, requirements and Eurocodes. Familiar with authority submission requirements for civil and geotechnical works. Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures and construction administration. Able to manage projects independently and work under tight timelines.
