Overview Tenure-track position for Assistant Professor in the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (Digital Bioengineering) at NTU. The School is an interdisciplinary unit formed by integrating the School of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering (SCBE) and the Division of Chemistry and Biological Chemistry (CBC). CCEB faculty conduct research in chemistry, chemical engineering, bioengineering, biotechnology, and related fields. We invite outstanding candidates to apply for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with a research focus in Digital Bioengineering. Applicants should have a well-defined research vision and an outstanding publication record. The successful candidate is expected to develop an innovative, internationally visible, extramurally funded research program and to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including mentoring and supervision of students. Responsibilities Develop an internationally visible research program in Digital Bioengineering that addresses fundamental and translational challenges in biomedical engineering, including the use of computational and AI methods. Establish extramurally funded projects and publish in top journals. Teach and develop courses at undergraduate and graduate levels; mentor and supervise students. Contribute to service at the school and university level as appropriate. Qualifications Expertise and a proven track record in fields related to biomedical data science. Ability to translate data-driven analytic approaches into diagnostic or therapeutic solutions for major human diseases is preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop an innovative and impactful research program using computational methods and AI in biomedical engineering. Strong potential for excellence in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels and for mentoring students. Emoluments The commencing salary will depend on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and the level of appointment offered. Application Procedure Submit a cover letter and detailed CV.
