Currently looking for international procurement officers who have past experience A procurement manager is responsible for acquiring goods and services for a company by sourcing, negotiating with, and managing suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality supply . Key duties include developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process from start to finish, which requires strong negotiation, organizational, and financial skills. Key responsibilities Supplier management: Find and develop relationships with reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts to get the best terms, and manage ongoing partnerships. Cost management: Develop strategies to reduce procurement costs and ensure the company receives the best value for money. Process oversight: Manage the entire procurement process, from initial request to final delivery, and maintain accurate logs and reports. Risk management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with suppliers and the supply chain to prevent disruptions. Inventory control: Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure there is always enough supply. Skills and qualifications Experience: Experience in a procurement, buying, or related field is essential. Experience in the company's specific industry is highly recommended. Key skills:Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills are crucial for securing advantageous terms. Financial acumen: An understanding of budgets, cost structures, and financial analysis is needed to identify cost savings. Organizational skills: Project management and organizational skills are necessary to oversee complex processes. Problem-solving: The ability to solve problems and make strategic decisions is vital.
