Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician

As a heavy equipment technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on diesel and gasoline engines used in construction and excavation machinery.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with heavy equipment, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and excellent problem-solving skills.

You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all equipment is operated and maintained safely and efficiently.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair issues with heavy equipment, including loaders, bulldozers, excavators, and cranes.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify faults or potential issues.
  • Implement and adhere to scheduled preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Formal training or certification in mechanics, automotive technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a mechanic, with hands-on experience in engine repair, crane operation, and construction equipment maintenance.
  • Must be very familiar with XCMG machines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Mandarin to coordinate with team members and suppliers.
