Job Description
Broad experience in designing, programming, and implementing large distributed systems with microservices.
Deep understanding of application, infrastructure, and security architecture, including non-functional aspects like performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
Translate functional requirements into effective designs.
Collaborate with technical SMEs to understand and meet their requirements.
Establish best practices and standards for microservice implementation.
Identify and define implementation patterns.
Lead efforts to develop accelerators and tools to enhance the quality of deliverables.
Evaluate industry technologies to inform service design, considering cost, portability, compatibility, and usability factors.
Identify and implement changes to technologies, platforms, and systems to fulfill customer and operational needs.
Continuously seek ways to optimize the management and utilization of technology, platforms, and systems.
Highlight design risks, propose alternatives, and recommend high-quality solutions to problems.
Job Requirements & Skill Sets
Experience:
10-15 years in architecture development, backend integration, and Java/J2EE application development.
Technical Expertise:
Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST, SOAP.
Middleware (MQ, JMS, Kafka), Spring Cloud.
OAuth authentication, PCI/Security standards.
Experience with TIBCO to Spring Boot migration is a plus.
Experience in the gaming and hospitality industries is a plus.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
