Job Title: Art Intern

Job Level: Internship

Department: Art Department

Location: Orchard Central, Singapore

Allowance: $1,000/month

Working days: 5-6 days a week

Overall Job Objectives: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Art Intern to join our dynamic team. As an Art Intern, you will be an integral part of our creative team, supporting daily operations, assisting with classes, and contributing to our community-building efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic studio setting and develop your skills in various art forms.

THE JOB:

• Assist instructors during Wheel Throwing, Hand Building, Pottery Painting, and Glass Painting classes.
• Help with the preparation and setup of materials and equipment for classes and workshops.
• Engage with studio visitors and provide information about our classes and offerings.
• Support the creation and maintenance of studio displays and exhibitions.
• Perform general studio maintenance and organization tasks as needed.
• Contribute to daily administrative tasks and studio upkeep.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Preferably Diploma/Degree in Fine Arts, Product Design, Animation and Visual Effects, or any other relevant qualifications.
• Experience in the Art Studio is an advantage but not required.
• Strong interest in and enthusiasm for the visual arts, particularly ceramics and painting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute.
• Meticulous, good organizational and documentation skills.
• A minimum commitment period of 6 months is required.

Key Deliverables:

• Well-organized and efficiently executed art workshops or studio sessions.
• High-quality visual content for marketing and branding purposes.
• Research reports and insights on current art trends and techniques.
• A portfolio of completed projects and contributions by the end of the internship.
• A well-maintained and organized studio space with properly managed materials.
