Geotechnical Design Expertise

This role involves the execution of civil, structural or geotechnical design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings in accordance to customer specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead a team of engineers and work closely with the department director on various projects.

Key responsibilities include undertaking detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures, conducting analysis and design of buildings and infrastructure, project coordination including submission to local authorities, liaison during the construction stage, communication with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters, and training and supporting junior engineers.

Requirements for this position include a Civil Engineering degree from a reputable institution, at least 5 years of relevant experience in Structural / Geotechnical design, good knowledge of various engineering design software and analytical tools, independence, organization, positive work attitude, knowledge of design codes like Euro Code 2, 3, good communication and presentation skills, and effective team player abilities.
