What the role is: The Flight Operations Trainee will assist in the safety oversight of air operator certificate holders in accordance with the Air Navigation Regulations. The trainee will gain a better understanding of the safety regulatory framework and surveillance activities, and assist the section in modernising and enhancing some of the surveillance tools. What you will be working on: The Flight Operations Trainee will drive the digitalisation of current methods of industry application and regulatory approval required under regulations. The Flight Operations Trainee will also be involved in the digitalisation and enhancement of other oversight tasks for our air operator certificate holders. What we are looking for: The flight operations trainee position is an entry-level position. Applicants to the position must have relevant training or qualifications in aviation or related disciplines. The trainee should have an intermediate understanding of Microsoft tools such as Excel and Word, and other relevant digital tools. Experience in digitalisation projects would also be useful.
