Infrastructure and Network Engineer

Working Hours: 8.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5.30pm, Friday (Hybrid Working Arrangement). Location: West. Salary: Up to $6,000. We are seeking an infrastructure and network support engineer to support and maintain the organisation's on-premises (mainly) or cloud servers, networking services, and virtualisation platforms, ensuring reliable infrastructure for all teams. Responsibilities: Manage and support on-premises servers and virtual machines (VMs) using platforms such as VMware, Hyper‐V, or Nutanix. Configure and enforce firewall rules and network policies for different groups and teams based on service request tickets. Respond to requests related to network access, permission control, and virtualisation services. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues. Ensure compliance with security policies, maintain accurate documentation, and administration works related to infrastructure and network support. Requirements: Diploma or bachelor's degree in system engineering, network engineering or related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in system and network engineering. Experience with server operating systems (Linux/Ubuntu, Windows Server) and virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper‐V, or Nutanix). Knowledge of TCP/IP, network switching, routing, and firewall configuration. Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and network policy management. Ability to manage VLANs and network segmentation. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure). Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira).
