Responsibilities Provide technical assistance to ensure product quality acceptance and compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Liaise with customers / vendors / suppliers on non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality. Perform internal audits to evaluate quality system, products and processes (AS9100, AS13100 and NADCAP). Communicate quality issues clearly and promptly with recommendations to support decision making. Perform vendor audits as required. Uphold customers’ and regulatory authorities’ requirements. Work on First Article Inspection reports and AS9145 APQP/ PPAP preparation & submission. Actively participate in continuous improvement program. Guide, train and coach Quality Engineers and QC inspectors. Organize and control calibration. Any other tasks as assigned by Quality Manager. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in technical disciplines such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. At least 8 years of relevant QA experience in a precision manufacturing mass production environment. Experience in QMS of ISO 9001, AS13100, AS9100 is preferred. Familiar with audit (NADCAP) covering special processes including Heat treatment, Brazing, Non-conventional machining (EDM & SEG), Shot peening and Chemical processing would be a plus. Strong command in GD&T, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, GR&R and drawing interpretation. Basic knowledge in CMM & Non-Destructive Testing. Experience in using problem-solving tools including 8D, fishbone diagrams, FMEA and 5-whys methodology. Professional certifications such as AS9100 Internal/Lead Auditor, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) will be a strong advantage. Familiar with GE Aerospace customer drawing requirements, process specifications & approval process would be a plus.
