Salt Talent Search is looking for a APAC Product Merchandising Specialist for a 12 months contract role, this role is with well known media and entertainment client. This role builds locally-relevant lifecycle merchandising strategies for APAC markets that can scale where the opportunity exists
- engaging members at key moments in their relationship with the client What Will You Do:
Build lifecycle management strategies (acquisition through retention, and re-engagement, ) tailored to the distinct business dynamics of APAC markets, from early growth to mature. Work directly with Product Merchandising local leadership to understand business context and member behavior, and translate that into merchandising lifecycle plans grounded in local business reality. Develop fluency in self-serve dashboards to derive actionable product/ member insights. Partner with the regional product merchandising team to align lifecycle strategy with broader merchandising priorities. Work with the global core team to adapt and localise global programs, flagging where and why a global default won't hold in an APAC market and surfacing local business needs. Develop robust learning and testing plans with the performance analytics team, seeking to prove impact and build strong learning loops with deployed strategies. What Will you Need:
7 years experience in lifecycle, CRM or merchandising strategy for a subscription, streaming, or digital product business, ideally with exposure to multiple markets at different growth stages. You think beyond channel and message cadence, and are equally focused on how content curation and discovery surfaces (what members are shown, and when) drive retention. Comfortable working with both data and narrative. Experience in connecting global program goals and local market realities/ needs in both directions, not just receiving global direction and applying it. Able to prioritise and make tradeoffs explicit when capacity doesn't match the number of markets or asks in front of you. Independent, self-driven and comfortable operating across time zones and market maturity levels without a single fixed playbook to follow.
