Marketing - Senior Vice President – Citi Join to apply for the Marketing – Senior Vice President role at Citi . Responsibilities Develop and implement the end‑to‑end marketing strategy for Banking in Asia, aligning with global strategy and business objectives. Oversee the design and execution of strategic client events, roundtables, and sponsorships that strengthen client relationships, generate new leads, and support business development. Coordinate with business and the Global Events Management team to manage all aspects of client and prospect events—invitees, compliance, logistics, hospitality, budget, and post‑event follow‑up. Foster strong partnerships with regional teams and senior management to understand marketing and event needs. Optimize and strategically influence spend across Banking marketing initiatives; provide regular updates on spend, completed initiatives, and ROI. Collaborate with internal partners to improve best practices, processes, and event/content management. Maintain a deep understanding of the industry, competitors, and evolving needs of institutional clients to develop targeted initiatives. Ensure accurate marketing collateral and facilitate its production with product marketing, assets, and front‑office teams. Apply risk assessment, compliance, and ethical judgment to protect Citigroup’s reputation and assets. Qualifications 10+ years of marketing experience in financial services, focusing on investment banking and institutional clients. Proven record of originating and managing large‑scale, high‑profile client events. Experience managing multi‑project delivery for senior stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. Independent self‑starter capable of collaborating with peers. Problem‑solving skills in a challenging, time‑constrained environment. Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities. Capability to develop and enhance KPIs to measure success. Strategic and analytical thinking. Key competencies: execution, collaboration, and innovation. Education University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent experience); additional qualifications in marketing, communications, finance, or investments are a plus.
