Overview

Assistant Manager, Photographer role at Resorts World Sentosa. The Photographer sits within the Resort Marketing department and will support the Assistant Director in developing and capturing high-quality visual content that showcases the resort's attractions, amenities, and experiences. This role requires a keen eye for detail, sound technical skills in photography, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating compelling visual narratives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align visual content with broader marketing objectives. The Photographer will be responsible for capturing a wide range of content – from promotional materials to social media assets featuring food, interiors, events and lifestyle, and will play a key role in maintaining the resort's visual brand identity.

Responsibilities

  • Asset Creation
    • Capture high-quality visual content showcasing the resort's attractions, amenities, and experiences for omni-channel campaigns, website, and social media platforms
    • Develop creative concepts, mood boards and shoot lists for photography projects
    • Direct talents during shoots, ensuring natural expressions, engaging poses, and alignment with the intended mood and brand tone
    • Create platform-specific content tailored to diverse audiences, across our portfolio of brands
    • Ensure all visuals are consistent, on-brand and follow guidelines across every channel and media
    • Videography skills (shoot and edit) a plus
  • Production and Collaboration
    • Direct and coordinate the quality and delivery of work with internal stakeholders and external partners
    • Handle production requests and assist in fulfilling production briefs
    • Ensure all assets are properly labelled, tagged, and stored for future use
  • Project Management
    • Ensure timelines are met from brief reception to asset delivery by owning the overall process
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
    • Analyse content performance metrics regularly to optimise content strategy and formats, to boost visibility and engagement

Qualifications

  • Degree in Digital Media, Film, Photography or other relevant fields.
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant working experience in digital content production, consumer brand, or marketing/communications agency

Skills

  • A robust understanding of digital content and social marketing industry trends, tactics, and user behaviour, including content distribution strategies and platform best practices.
  • High technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and related image-editing programs including mobile apps
  • Firm understanding in colour correction and experience in image retouching
  • Excellent research, organisational, and time management skills. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while paying keen attention to details
  • Self-driven and able to excel independently, and in collaborative teams, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • A good eye for aesthetics and design sense
