We strive to create a supportive community that bridges students' needs with expert guidance, helping them grow and thrive academically and emotionally.Position: Freelance Private Speech Therapist (1-to-1) Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in children. Develop and implement individualised therapy plans based on each child's specific communication needs and goals. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on improving speech clarity, language skills, social communication, and swallowing difficulties as needed. Utilise evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to enhance communication skills in a fun and engaging manner. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and integration of therapeutic strategies into the child's daily life. Maintain detailed documentation of each child's progress, adapting therapy plans as necessary to meet evolving needs. Stay updated on current trends and best practices in speech therapy and special education. Requirements: A recognised degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders, or other relevant degree Valid registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore. Previous experience working with children with speech and language disorders, particularly in a one-to-one setting. Strong knowledge of communication development and disorders, as well as evidence-based intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with children and their families. Ability to work independently and customise therapy plans based on each child's progress and needs.
