The Vietnam Publishing Lead oversees the implementation of the player experience of League of Legends, LOL in the Vietnam market. This includes product marketing, community programs and player support. You are also responsible for evaluating and managing a team of ICs contributing to the product’s success. You will manage publishing efforts and prioritize publishing opportunities in Vietnam. This includes building the larger game ecosystem (community, partnerships) all while prioritizing the audience experience. You will lead Riot’s long-term strategy for LOL in Vietnam, scale our seasonal publishing efforts and programs, establish the scope of media work, community building, and local channel strategy. Team building is a core responsibility of this role and you will have the privilege of leading and hiring a team of experienced publishing professionals. This role reports to APAC, LOL RPPL based in Singapore. Responsibilities: Guide local publishing strategy to ensure our goals, player needs and game health metrics are achieved. Represent and advocate your region’s market and its needs to the global team Improve GTM plans by implementing global brand strategy locally while optimizing all owned and earned channels within the market Lead and grow an experienced publishing team as LOL grows with subsequent content releases and player community-facing events Lead regional advertising and media efforts from first briefing, to successful execution, impact analysis & reporting Make key decisions across the region’s communications strategies, audience targeting, performance measurement, player support, and integration of community channels Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in a publishing, business development or product management role 4+ years leading an externally facing program related to experiential marketing 3+ years directly managing an initiative, program, or small team Experience building business strategies and managing company and team resources to achieve desired outcomes You know how to build and deploy budgets and have a plethora of experience accounting for how large projects were managed Desired Qualifications: Experience working with a variety of levels, from coordinator briefings to selling strategy to senior partners You can plan contingencies and move autonomously You understand the art of channel management, from technical fundamentals to the creation of content that delights and surprises its users BA in a related field of study is nice to have For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes the delight of players.
