Job Scope: 1. Cooking Responsibilities: Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children based on the center’s menu and dietary requirements. Ensure food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations (e.g., NEA guidelines). Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Plan grocery lists and assist in purchasing food supplies as needed. Label and store food properly to avoid spoilage and cross-contamination. Cater to special dietary needs, food allergies, or religious dietary restrictions where necessary. 2. Cleaning Responsibilities: Clean classrooms, toilets, pantry, and common areas daily to maintain a hygienic environment. Sanitize toys, furniture, and frequently touched surfaces regularly. Dispose of garbage and recyclables properly and maintain cleanliness of waste areas. Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with laundry tasks such as washing and folding children’s bedding, towels, and uniforms. 3. General Duties: Support teachers and staff in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized childcare environment. Follow daily cleaning and cooking schedules.
