Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture, assemble, and maintain progressive, compound, and 3D stamping dies to ensure precision and quality.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to die reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to improve tool manufacturability and maintainability, ensuring smooth production processes.
  • Conduct tool try-outs, tuning, and optimization of press parameters to achieve quality and yield targets, resulting in cost savings and increased productivity.
  • Verify tools against CAD drawings and inspection results, maintaining detailed tool history and documentation for future reference.

Requirements:

  • Techincal Certificate or Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Precision Engineering, or equivalent, demonstrating relevant technical knowledge and skills.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in toolmaking, with focus on progressive, compound, and 3D stamping dies, showcasing expertise and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in interpreting 2D tool design prints and 3D CAD drawings, enabling effective collaboration with design teams.
  • Experience working with tight-tolerance parts and challenging materials (e.g., stainless steel, copper alloys), requiring adaptability and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
