I can succeed as a Global Risk Management Enterprise & Operational Risk Senior Manager
Oversees Risk Management Program:
In partnership with Risk Management global leadership, develop a vision and strategy for a robust global risk management framework and oversee and lead the execution of the framework in line with evolving regulatory considerations and best practices. Key activities include:
Provide strategic direction and oversight of the globalization/implementation of the framework
Provide timely risk reporting to Senior Leadership, Boards and governance committees
Monitor the regulatory landscape and adjust and evolve the risk framework as required
Continuously challenge the way work is prioritized/executed striving for continuous improvement
Oversee the operational event response process (SWAT process) to enable prompt event resolution, and partner with the relevant business area(s) to complete the necessary event reports, identify adequate proposed control enhancements, and support the periodic exception report review and SOX certification processes.
Provide broad risk management expertise on cross-functional or enterprise projects and/or initiatives.
Support and/or represent Risk Management in client due diligence and/or regulator meetings.
Cultivate and manage relationships with internal parties to share ideas and leverage knowledge gained to connect the dots across business areas and external parties through participation in industry organizations.
Lead other risk management activities and/or other special projects as needed (e.g., SOC1, ICARA, Technology).
Develop High-Performing Teams:
Oversees a high-performing team of risk management professionals and is responsible for talent development, encompassing role definition, coaching, crafting development plans, and managing performance
Optimizing resources to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

In-depth knowledge of risk management practices and their application to the asset management business.
Possesses excellent expert knowledge of risk management frameworks, related activities, and regulatory expectations/developments
Excellent written and oral communication skills including with leadership committees, senior business leaders and larger forums
Ability to manage both people and multiple projects (including those global in scope)
Experience in driving results for diverse teams which operate in a continuously evolving, complex, fast-paced environment
Excellent conflict resolution, influencing and delegation skills
Excellent organizational agility and collaboration skills, including with team members regionally and globally
Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in resolving matters of high complexity
Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills

Ability to oversee and direct the identification and interpretation of meaningful information through the interrogation of large amounts of data (i.e., data analytics)
