
Paid Ads Performance Specialist

Responsibilities:
Plan, strategise and manage paid ads campaigns for internal and external clients
Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
Work with web developers to implement tracking for all paid ads campaigns
Propose action steps to improve campaign performance
Assist in identifying conversion rate optimisation (CRO) action steps
Work cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals across the organization
Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders
Build out media buys for various ad platforms and oversee the day-to-day execution of paid media
Oversee and manage the overall budget for paid media
Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping and audience targeting
Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies
Manage all other paid ads-related matters as tasked by the Digital Marketing Head
Meet various marketing objectives and KPIs as set by the management
Google Ads:
Plan, set up and optimise Display campaigns
Plan, set up and optimise Video campaigns
Plan, set up and optimise Shopping campaigns
Monitor the performance of all campaigns and propose optimisation steps using a data-driven mindset
Skills Required:
Proven experience with Google Ads
Familiar with Google Ads Editor for quicker management of campaigns when bulk edits are required
Familiar with competitor spying tools such as Ahrefs and SEMRush
Google Skillshop certifications (at least Search and Shopping, bonus for other certifications such as Display, Video and Analytics as well)
Familiar with setting up Google Merchant Centre accounts, monitoring of product catalogues and flagging out to the eCommerce team if there are any errors/issues
Personal Characteristics:
Driven to learn and pick up new skills (more important than bonus qualifications or certifications)
Proactive in identifying opportunities in marketing performance and suggesting action steps
Keen yet sensitive to provide constructive ideas (with the main goal of improving marketing performance) to the team
Straightforward yet sensitive in internal communications with fellow team members to foster positive and pleasant relationships
Positive and people-loving, especially towards colleagues and internal stakeholders
Organised and passionate in digital marketing to always push new boundaries in strengthening and expanding the brands' digital presence and reputation
