WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH As part of Bain's AI, Insights & Solutions (AIS) , you'll join a diverse team of analytics and engineering professionals dedicated to solving complex client challenges. We collaborate closely with consultants and clients to develop data-driven strategies and innovative solutions in a supportive environment that fosters creativity and continuous learning. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will lead the development and application of technical solutions for complex problems across industries. Your role includes mentoring engineering teams throughout the entire development lifecycle, designing, developing, and deploying advanced data engineering solutions at a production scale. Collaborate with consulting teams to identify and scope software solutions for client business problems. Lead end-to-end technical solution delivery, from architecture to development. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including architecture, coding, reviews, testing, and documentation. Participate in client advisory activities requiring deep software engineering expertise. Develop reusable frameworks and components to address common engineering challenges. Create a positive working environment to attract top engineering talent. Coach client and partner engineering teams to enhance capabilities and ensure high standards. Promote best practices in software engineering and share industry learnings. Drive innovative solutions that deliver significant client impact. Act as PD Advisor as needed. Lead recruiting and onboarding efforts. Travel up to 30% as required. ABOUT YOU Required At least 12 years of hands-on experience in web development, programming, version control, and software design. Minimum 3 years managing software engineers. Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Business acumen and understanding of business models. Experience leading multiple projects and developing junior engineers. Technical Skills and Knowledge Proven track record of deploying enterprise AI applications and data analytics products. Expertise in Python (5+ years). Experience with server-side frameworks like FastAPI, Node.js, Flask. Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD tools, MLOps, infrastructure as code (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform). Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, testing, OOP, performance, and computer architecture. Experience with data architecture, database design, and SQL. Knowledge of client-side technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS). Experience designing scalable OLTP and OLAP data systems. Nice to have: AI-driven application development experience. Understanding of data security, privacy, cybersecurity, authentication, and cloud IAM. Experience working with agile methodologies. Interpersonal Skills Excellent communication skills to discuss technical solutions with diverse stakeholders. Curiosity, proactivity, and critical thinking.
