About the Client Our client is a reputable industrial conglomerate with diversified global operations. To strengthen governance and internal controls across the Group, they are seeking a seasoned Chief Auditor to lead the internal audit function. Key Responsibilities 1. Internal Audit Strategy & Governance Develop and oversee the Group’s internal audit strategy, framework, and annual risk-based audit plan. Ensure audit methodology aligns with IIA standards while strengthening governance, internal controls, and compliance across all entities. 2. Audit Execution & Reporting Lead end-to-end audit reviews covering financial, operational, IT/cybersecurity, and compliance areas. Report key findings, risks, and recommendations to the Audit Committee and senior leadership, ensuring timely remediation. Identify emerging risks and control gaps, providing independent recommendations on process improvements and system enhancements. Conduct thematic audits on critical areas such as digital transformation, ESG reporting, supply chain integrity, and fraud risk. 4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional audit team across multiple geographies. Build strong relationships with business leaders while maintaining independence, serving as a trusted advisor to the Executive Committee and Board. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Business; certifications such as CIA, CPA, CA, or CISA preferred. Strong understanding of internal audit standards, enterprise risk management, and regulatory expectations. Minimum 15 years of audit/risk experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within industrial or manufacturing environments. Proven track record leading global audit programs and managing multi-country/regional audit teams. Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills. High integrity, sound judgment, and ability to operate independently in complex, fast-moving environments.
