What The Role Is As an Engineer/Lead Engineer, you will be at the forefront of deploying real operational systems that directly support policing work, strengthen national resilience, and help maintain Singapore’s standing as one of the most peaceful countries in the world. This role extends beyond project management—it's about making an impact that protects our community. What You Will Be Working On Drive Projects End-to-End: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple high-impact projects, ensuring they meet operational needs and deliver long-term value. Manage Stakeholders: Collaborate with diverse stakeholders—frontline officers, technical experts, industry partners, and government agencies to align goals and deliver solutions that work in real-world policing contexts. Deploy Operational Systems: Oversee the rollout of mission-driven systems that directly support law enforcement and public safety operations. Contract & Vendor Management: Negotiate, manage, and monitor contracts with solution providers to ensure accountability, value for money, and service excellence. Security Testing & Compliance: Ensure systems undergo rigorous security testing and meet compliance with ICT policies, cybersecurity standards, and operational resilience requirements to safeguard national interests. What We Are Looking For Tertiary qualification in Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information and Communication Technology (ICT) or relevant disciplines. Preferably more than 3-5 years of relevant working experience. Strong interest in technologies and innovation, particularly in the areas of cloud technology, ICT infrastructure, network communications, applications, and setup. Has strong planning and project management skills, PMP or equivalent certification would be an advantage. Is able to work independently and as a team player, supporting colleagues, taking responsibility, and ensuring timely delivery. Has good interpersonal and communications skills for internal/external stakeholder engagement. Is familiar with the Home Team environment would be an advantage. All new appointees are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
