The Community Resource, Engagement and Support Team serves as a first mental health touchpoint in the community.

We focus on raising public awareness of mental health conditions and dementia, promoting early recognition of at-risk individuals, providing emotional support to individuals and their caregivers and linking them to relevant health and social care services when necessary.

Our team conducts outreach events/activities to promote mental health awareness and identify and support those with mental health needs and their caregivers.

As a key member of our team, you will attend to all enquiries (phone, walk in), organize the logistics &/or resources to ensure the smooth running of our services.

You may also be involved in coordinating outreach events and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the team in running client-related support and/or other activities.
  • Assist Social Workers in client monitoring, care coordination, and follow-up.
  • Manage data collation, report generation, and ensure compliance with data protection guidelines.
  • Support team in planning and executing outreach events, screenings, and client-related activities.
  • Collaborate with community partners and agencies.
  • Conduct client screenings, provide basic emotional support to clients and mental health awareness.
  • Prepare resource materials for clients and caregivers.
Requirements:
  • Possess a diploma certification or relevant social service certification.
  • Non-diploma holder with social service experience will be considered.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate to work in the mental health sector and community service sector.
  • Outgoing and sociable personality with keen interest in working with people on one-to-one basis or centre-based group activity.
  • A well-organized, meticulous team player who can also work independently.
