Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team on a locum/perm basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the rehabilitation needs of residents, developing and implementing individualized physiotherapy programs to facilitate movement and function.

Responsibilities

  • Assessment and Rehabilitation

You will assess, evaluate and identify the rehabilitation needs of residents, formulating and implementing appropriate individualized physiotherapy programs to restore, improve or maintain movement and function.

Communication and Liaison

You will maintain good communication with various disciplines involved in the rehabilitation process, referring residents to respective professionals for consultation and intervention as needed.

Training and Supervision

You will guide, supervise and train physiotherapy students, therapist assistants, caregivers and volunteers on their performance of duties and implementation of programs, ensuring safe and effective treatment of residents.

Documentation

You will ensure that proper documentation is made for all treatment rendered to residents.

Other Duties

You may be required to perform any other duties assigned by the Rehab Manager or Director of Nursing.

Requirements

  • Degree in Physiotherapy

A diploma or degree in physiotherapy recognized by the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council is required.

Registration

Fully registered with the Singapore Allied Health Professional Council preferred.
