Job Summary Develop and maintain BIM models for semiconductor facility projects, ensuring design accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project standards using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain BIM models for semiconductor facility projects using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM software to support design and construction phases
Prepare detailed 3D models for process piping systems and tool hook-up services to facilitate accurate project execution
Perform clash detection and coordinate with multiple disciplines to minimize site conflicts and improve constructability
Generate shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings from BIM models to support project documentation and compliance
Collaborate with project engineers, designers, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy and constructability throughout project lifecycle
Update BIM models based on site changes, contractor feedback, RFIs, and revised drawings to maintain model accuracy
Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project specifications, BIM execution plans, and company standards to meet quality requirements
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, BIM, or related disciplines
Minimum 1 year of BIM modelling experience, preferably in semiconductor, cleanroom, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects
Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD to produce accurate BIM models and drawings
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and construction specifications to ensure correct model development
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment with tight schedules to meet project deadlines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Knowledge of process piping, exhaust, HVAC, UPW, PCW, CDA, gas, and chemical systems to enhance BIM modelling accuracy
Site experience in tool hook-up or facility installation works to support practical understanding of construction processes
