Overview
Equipment Technologist is responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment processes in their assigned area. Communicates with production and engineering teams to resolve area issues and implement effective solutions with appropriate escalations. Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting on non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers. Works on Fab Equipment.
Responsibilities
Monitor, sustain, and improve equipment processes in the assigned area.
Maintain open communication with production and engineering teams to resolve area issues and implement effective solutions with appropriate escalations.
Conduct electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose problems in electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
Dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment according to layouts, blueprints, manuals, and drawings.
Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts and validate repairs.
Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required and implement modifications as directed by engineers.
Work on Fab Equipment as part of the manufacturing team.
