SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is a Joint Venture between NXP and TSMC. We offer flexible and cost-effective semiconductor fabrication solutions by maintaining fully equipped SMIF cleanroom environment, 100% equipment automation and proven wafer-manufacturing processes. We're searching for a Senior/Principal Engineer to be part of our IT Department diverse team of talent. You will be responsible to project management, Engineering Analytic Systems Software development, Design and Support. This is a 1 year contract role Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using .NET (C#) and Python. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver AI-powered solutions for manufacturing optimization. Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, and deployment. Integrate AI models into production systems, ensuring scalability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack. Document technical specifications and maintain code quality through best practices and code reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance. Implement Service Request related to internal applications Provide support for Internal IT department and External customers Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) will be advantageous. 5+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API). Strong proficiency in Python, especially in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo ). Solid understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC best practices. Experience in manufacturing systems, industrial automation, or smart factory environments. Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server), Dataplatforms (Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi, Hadoop or equivalent). Familiarity with designing and training machine learning models and embedding into applications and workflows. Proficient in utilizing AWS tools for application development Excellent troubleshooting skills Good team player with pro-activeness and good initiatives Must be able to work independently.
